Download Free SCCM Current Branch Guides
This post includes all the SCCM current branch guides. SCCM 2012 R2 was great but it is not being developed anymore. In this post I will be adding the links related to SCCM Current Branch deployment. These are very useful current branch step by step guides.
If you are still using Configuration Manager 2012 R2, these SCCM current branch guides will help you to upgrade configuration manager to current branch. You can use it to deploy SCCM current branch in you lab quickly. As I publish the posts on ConfigMgr current branch versions, I shall update the links here.
With SCCM 2012 R2 guides, there were lot of issues with downloading the files. The PDF files were downloaded from Technet gallery directly. But i noticed that the downloads were not working.
In this post some downloads still point to TechNet gallery. So I would suggest to disable the pop-up blocker before you download the files because that usually blocks the downloads. Or you can open you browser in private mode or incognito mode and try downloading.
At the end of this post, you can download all the SCCM current branch guides at once. I will keep updating the guides as and when we see the new current branch releases. For any download issues, please write in comments section.
Thanks Prajwal. Amazing guides..
Hi Prajwal, I am reading your blog and it is quite informative. Can you throw some lights on SCCM 2012 to SCCM CB 1902 migration. I have few concerns, before that i will try to explain my current status:
We have a SCCM 2012 deployed and managing close to 100 clients. Now my team have asked me to setup a parallel setup SCCM 1902 CB and test few machines and then slowly move all clients from the old SCCM to the new one.
There is one issue, i read about the overlapping boundaries issues. currently the boundary is set to active directory site. so i think i cant establish one SCCM with active directory site as boundary.
If i set it up, what are the issues we will face? from the reading i understand the clients can choose any site they want ( randomly). Does this apply if we want to push sccm client automatically ? what if we install the clients manually for each machine, will this overcome the overlapping boundary issue ?
1. Can we use the migration option in the new SCCM to migrate the boundaries ? but we need the old setup for some quite sometime !
or
2. Can i disable the current AD site based boundary in the old SCCM and configure IP Subnet based boundary. so i can move clients based on IP subnet range.
or
3. Can i install a new CAS server and add my old SCCM and new SCCM to it and do the migrations ?
or
Can you guide me on this . thanks for your effort in posting these guide. it helps a lot for the beginners
thx, Sarav
Hi Prajawal, none of the documents are getting downloaded. Please look into it.
Hi Akhilesh, I have changed the download links and now they are all OneDrive links. I am sure the downloads should work fine now.
