UPDATE: Information on curfews in Southern California for Tuesday, June 2

These towns and counties in southern California will have curfews in place on Monday evening June 1 following unrest across the country after the death of George Floyd, who died in custody in Minneapolis.

Los Angeles County

  • LA County: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until further notice
  • Beverly hills: 4:00 p.m. A 1:00 p.m. curfew will go into effect in the city’s business district.
  • Glendale: From 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday
  • Long beach: 4:00 p.m. A 1:00 p.m. curfew will go into effect in the city’s business district.
  • Signal hill: From 4 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday
  • Santa Monica: 4:00 p.m. A 1:00 p.m. curfew will go into effect in the city’s business district.

The county by-law replaces each city’s curfews that were to come into effect after 6 p.m.

Orange County

  • Anaheim: From 6 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday
  • Costa Mesa: From 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday

Riverside County

The county by-law replaces each city’s curfews that were to come into effect after 6 p.m.

San Bernardino County

  • Fontana: from 6 p.m. to sunrise until further notice
  • Mountains: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until further notice
  • Loma linda: 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. until further notice
  • Ontario: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday
  • Rialto: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday
  • Saint-Bernardin: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until further notice
  • Uplands: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Monday June 8
