SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The annual California State Fair has returned to Sacramento after two years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The California State Fair and Food Festival will kick off July 15 at Cal Expo and run through the end of the month.
Live music performances, dozens of food vendors, rides and activities are among the festivities highlighted at this family-friendly event.

The show will feature a number of special events throughout the two weeks, including:
Additional activities include unique exhibits and interactive experiences for all interests.
In addition to activities, children and families can choose from nearly 50 rides on the purchase of transport tickets.
But the flagship event highlighted each year at the California State Fair is FOOD!
With more than 60 sellers this yearvisitors can try out a variety of local business start-ups with the option to purchase a Food festival pass for foodies who want to try a bit of everything.

All live music performances require a separate ticket purchase from the show’s admission price, starting at $15.
Admission
General admission starts at $14 for adults, $12 for seniors over 62, $10 for children ages 5-12, and children under 4 enter free.
Carnival tickets are $1 with the option of an unlimited all-day pass for $10, as well as the option of unlimited ride wristbands between $37 and $42.
California State Fair Tickets can be purchased online or at the front dooras well as all activities that require additional registrations, purchases and family plan options.
Car park
Parking in the Cal Expo lot is $15 with little to no street parking provided.
